Meet Mike Mona, a true La Plata, Maryland native with a passion for construction that started in his childhood. Growing up on a farm, he purchased his first backhoe as a high school and was already driving it between jobs before he even had his driver’s license. By 17, he had built his first septic system, and in 1994, he incorporated Mona Equipment. Over the years, Mike expanded his expertise to home building, government contracting, and even opened a Wood Waste Plant, always emphasizing the importance of building strong relationships to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within budget.
